Last week we had a private viewing of the just released DVD “From Beginning to Last”. It chronicles the life span and farewell tour of the band Engine Down. The turn out was amazing and the reactions ranged from laughing to crying. It’s an intense story and it seemed to affect those watching as much as it affected the band. I highly reccommend you see it whether you are a music fan or not. Thanks so much to all those involved.

I absolutely love this dvd. I’ve been an engine down fan for a long time now, but i never got the chance to see you guys live. It’s a really great story of an extremely underrated band.
The best part about the break-up is that I continue to enjoy the music being made in the post-engine down era. Glos is exactly what I was hoping would be born.
Thank you for continuing to make my ears happy.
Hola!
The DVD is great, i have already watched it 4 or 5 times since i got it. It was everything i was hoping it would be.
Thanks for making music that i enjoy, every band you have been a part of i love. You are a great inspiration!
Cheers, Mathias
Oh and also…..I love the b-sides on the dvd, any chance we’ll ever see mp3 versions of those songs?
I was going to ask the same thing terrence.
I would appreciate mp3’s of the b-sides very much. Especially Sloth. I lent the DVD to my mate…and i want to listen to it now…but i need the DVD
Keeley,
Y’all did an excellent job with this. I was amazed by it and it went so quickly. I watched it several times. I actually mailed it to my man Jimbob in Raleigh for him to check out. The best part was the live show in Richmond (I was as the one at the Black Cat in DC.) I definitely think your live shows definitely were some of the most amazing I’ve seen.
Peace
Greg
The last show is the one at the University Of Richmond on November 10th right? Or am I wrong?
Zach, i believe it’s at the former twister’s (nanci raygun)
The answers to these questions are way over due. Let me give them a try.
1. Oh and also…..I love the b-sides on the dvd, any chance we’ll ever see mp3 versions of those songs?
K: There are no plans to release the b-sides to the DVD except for on the DVD, maybe you could install a DVD player in your car to listen to the songs. Seems practical?
2.The last show is the one at the University Of Richmond on November 10th right? Or am I wrong?
k: Zack was correct about the last show. It was at the Nanci Raygun.
