Lonely Island T-shirt designs

You may have been sitting around the water cooler when your buddy told you to look up a video called “Dick in a Box” a while back. This was one of the many fabulous creations from the SNL comedy group Lonely Island involving Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg. Best known for their best known for their musical parodies on Saturday Night Live the group also has a full length album called Incredibad. Kheydesign called upon to create some fine apparel for the following skits/songs “We like Sportz”, “I’m on a Boat”, and “Ras Trent”.

It was a Black Iris xmas

For those of you who do not know, Black Iris Studios is a wonderland of creativity. Just about everyone, no actually….everyone, that works there is or has been in a Richmond band that shaped the scene. They all work together to bring you the best tunes to your favorite commercials. Everytime you see a commercial that they have put their music to, you sit and wonder “Who the hell is this great band and how the hell does it fit so perfectly to this ad?” You can learn more about them at http://www.blackiris.tv/

So just to show their commitment to creativity and xmas spirit I wanted to display the xmas gifts that KHEYDESIGN had a part in.

Consequence of Sound

I have been fortunate enough to work with the fine people at consequenceofsound.net. At the moment logo development has been completed by Kheydesign and I just wanted to give you a heads up on the great things to come with this music devoted site. Here is what they are all about.

“Consequence of Sound is a New York and Chicago based, globally influenced music resource that seeks to cover the music world, as it has never been done before. Acting as a news outlet, an interactive community, a festival tracker and technological hotbed, CoS brings the premier music website to the Web 3.0 world.

Since its inception in September 2007, CoS has reported on all of music’s biggest news, introduced the world to great new artists, and broken the lineups for some of the country’s biggest music festivals. Offering a wide array of content, including news, reviews, and other unique, original features, and covering every musical genre, the site has been applauded by a number of noteworthy print and online publications, including New York Magazine, Time Out, MTV, the BBC, USA Today and many, many more. WNEW picked CoS as the station’s first choice for “Best Music Blog” in July 2008. During this past August, Lollapolooza.com featured Consequence of Sound as the only outside coverage on the official website.”

Jetwerk.com launched

A new social networking website that I was lucky enough to be a part of has launched. The overall design and graphics of the site were my job and I am really excited with the way it turned out. Its a website that allows travelers to see each others travel plans and hook up when in the same town. Super cool. Check it out at jetwerk.com

“Wear Your Music Bracelet” featuring Keeley Davis

The guitar string bracelet charity project has included my old gnarly strings from Sparta tours in their catalog. They make bracelets crafted from authentic strings donated by acclaimed musicians such as Bela Fleck, Allman Brothers Band, Pete Townshend and more. Check out the site wearyourmusic.org and type Keeley Davis in the artist search box. All profits are donated to charity.
